FamOrbit ("we", "us", "our") is dedicated to protecting the privacy and digital wellbeing of families. FamOrbit is developed as part of the BuyWiseHub network (famorbit.buywisehub.in). This Privacy Policy explains how our parental control software collects, utilizes, and protects information when you install and use the FamOrbit Android application and related cloud services.

Our Core Privacy Rule: We never sell, rent, or trade your child's or your family's personal data to advertising networks, data brokers, or third parties. Our business model is strictly subscription-based ($2.99/mo or $19.99/yr), ensuring complete alignment with your family's safety.

2. Use of Android AccessibilityService API

FamOrbit uses the Android AccessibilityService API with explicit, informed consent from the parent/guardian.

Why is this permission required? The Accessibility Service allows FamOrbit to detect which application is currently in the foreground on your child's device. This enables the app to accurately calculate remaining daily screen time budgets and display the blocker screen when a time limit or bedtime routine is active.

What we DO NOT do:

We do NOT record keystrokes, passwords, or typed text.
We do NOT read, inspect, or intercept private messages, emails, photos, or videos.
We do NOT collect financial details or audio/microphone inputs.
Accessibility events are evaluated strictly on the local device to enforce time quotas.

3. Device Administrator Permission (Tamper Protection)

FamOrbit requests the Android Device Administrator (BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN) permission on the child device.

Purpose: This permission is used exclusively for tamper prevention to stop unauthorized uninstallation or force-closing of the protection service by children without entering the parent's secret 4-digit PIN. The parent can easily deactivate this permission anytime within the app using their Parent PIN.

4. Information We Collect & How It Is Used

5. COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)

FamOrbit is designed for parents to supervise minor children. We do not knowingly collect personal contact information (such as email address, telephone number, or physical location) directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Child pairing is performed via random anonymous 6-digit codes initiated by the parent.

6. Data Retention & Your Right to Delete Data

You have complete control over your family's data. You may delete your account and erase all associated cloud data at any time through:

In-App One-Tap Deletion: Open FamOrbit on the Parent Device → Settings → Tap "Delete Family Account & Cloud Data". All profile records, rules, and pairing logs are permanently wiped from the server instantly.
